Good news for walkers in Dawlish North East! Plans are underway to install a new footpath near Langdon Hospital, involving some carefully managed tree work to ensure safe access and tree health. Keep an eye out for these improvements in our community!
Fell one sycamore (T34). Crownlift trees within G11 adjacent to proposed footpath to achieve 3m ground clearance. Works to G11 and T34 are required to install a footpath as part of a consented planning application. Remove three branches overhanging road on poplar (T13), as shown in attached photo. Works are required for to reduce leverage on branch unions to allow the safe retention of the tree. Crownlift trees T23, G24, and T25 to achieve 5m ground clearance to allow the installation of a retaining wall.
